“I love you”. When you say it, mean it. Today, I got sad news that a family friend had passed away. I was deeply moved by it. Just like that…gone!
I never get excited to hear of someone’s passing. It’s not the people that die that I feel for the most, it’s the loved ones who are left behind to deal with the vacuum. Sometimes little children who aren’t old enough to understand how hard it is to not have a dad or a mom, or a spouse in the prime of life who has to become everything to the family while trying so hard to hold it together. At times a young child or a young adult child who hasn’t been able to live up to his/her fullest potential.
Later in the day, I spoke to a dear friend who is dealing with a terminal illness. A beautiful soul. Simple things we take for granted like taking a walk up the stairs. She was gasping for breath and praying for sleep. Life is precious. Cherish it. Cherish your loved ones. No one knows tomorrow. Love is a word but the act of love is so priceless.
I prayed for so many people today. I pray that God touches us all at the point of our needs.
Remember, “I love you”
