Once upon a time, I was destined to live happily ever after. But…what happens when you lose a loved one or go through a major heartbreak? It’s different for everyone but there’s a pain deep in your soul that cannot be expressed. It’s like getting a c-section surgery without an epidural. You cry but it’s like no one is hearing you. You wonder for a moment if God has turned away from you. The Video I am sharing is not new. It was put together a year after my beloved passed on and we marked the 1 year celebration of his life. His life from beginning to end was a celebration. It’s been almost 7 years now and wow, what a gift he was.
Emeka was full of life and lived life to the fullest. He loved me unconditionally and I him. His legacy lives on and I am grateful to God for the decade I was blessed to know him. Our boys, his family and friends still miss him dearly. Make every moment count and love with all your heart. God bless you Richly.
RIP Charles Emeka Amamgbo August 4, 1964 – November 17, 2007
Queenkay, I watched this video and cdnt stop crying. It was such a moving tribute to the man you loved. I didn’t know you had gone through such a painful experience as this. All glory unto God for given you such strength and grace to pull you through and make you what you are today. I pray for you and your boys honestly will.
May the God of recompense continue to restore your joy and all that is required.
It is well.

oh wow what a souvenir! watching this movie made me realize how much u loved and still love ur husband. he was an amazing man caring and fun person. I have only known him for 6 months before he passed and those 6 months were very memorable for me. we became best friends like i’ve known him for long time. I had to stop the movie at the 25th mn for a second for avoiding my self to be in tears like i did over two months after his death. wherever he is right now, i’m sure that he is watching u and is very proud of what ur doing for his 2 little angels. you are a brave woman and we are all proud of you. god bless u and bless.
God bless you too Rokia. Keep being amazing. Please look out for a new write up in the next day or 2. Thank you.

Very touching, Kay. I just cant control the tear from my eyes. Emeka was such a wonderful friend from the first day I met him in his store during my first month in USA. His brotherly advice about life in USA still lingers in my mind, which has helped shaped my path over the years.
RIP Emeka

Super Queen, I just listened to the video and believe me it brought back the memory when I visited your husband store to buy some food. We both talked about our business and shared some ideas on how to improve. I personally missed him because I used to fix his cars and shared some jokes. I called you Super Queen, because of what you have been through and I know you are a strong African woman. Keep hope alive and know we all praying for you and the kids.
Thank you so much for your words and encouragement. I truly appreciate it. May God bless you indeed. Look out for a new write up in the next day or two. Cheers, SuperQUeen.
As strong as I think am, I couldn’t control my tears as this video reminds me of what I felt when I lost my first love early last year. Remain strong Queen Kay especially for your lovely boys. Sorrow will never be your portion again in Jesus’s name, amen.
With all my love & happy 40th birthday.

Hi Doyin Darling! If I missed replying, please forgive me. I had some technical issues which hid much of my admin areas on my site and I also had a lot of other things going on making it hard to find my writing mojo. LOL! Thank you for your amazing uplifting words & prayers. God bless you richly! Look out for a write up coming very very soon!
Emeka? My junior brother? He came to Hope Waddell in 1976. 3 classes my junior, he was full life and very friendly. In 1984, he came to Unical, but this time we were sharing the same corner. We looked so much alike to the extent that those who didn’t know our names believed we were brothers. He came back to do his masters in 1989, I guess we didn’t see ourselves so often in the 90s. Emeka married and has children and passed away? No, this cruel. I will love to part of his children’s development.
